ENGIE Expands Renewable Portfolio with 730 MW Addition

ENGIE North America announced a major expansion of its renewable footprint with the addition of a 730 MW portfolio in partnership with Ares Infrastructure Opportunities funds. The new assets — one wind and two solar projects operating across ERCOT — further strengthen ENGIE’s position as a leading provider of clean energy in Texas.

The expansion deepens ENGIE’s long-standing relationship with Ares while supporting rising US power demand and the national shift toward low‑carbon generation.

ENGIE now has more than 11 GW of renewable generation and storage in operation or construction across the US and Canada, reinforcing its commitment to large‑scale clean energy development and long-term investment in North America. Globally, ENGIE has 52.7 GW of renewables and storage in operation and targeting 95 GW by 2030.
