J.D. Burrows Named Vice President, Marketing of GDF SUEZ Energy Resources
HOUSTON – June 20, 2013 – GDF SUEZ Energy Resources NA, one of the country’s largest competitive retail electricity providers to commercial, industrial and institutional customers, announced today that it has named J.D. Burrows as Vice President of Marketing.
In his position, Burrows – whose background in the energy sector spans more than 20 years – will oversee lead generation, brand positioning, marketing analytics and pricing strategies for the company.
Burrows has worked with GDF SUEZ for over a decade, holding a range of leadership positions in corporate strategy and electricity sales and marketing. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Origination and Procurement for GDF SUEZ Energy Marketing NA, a subsidiary of GDF SUEZ Energy North America.

Prior to joining GDF SUEZ, Burrows worked with Dynegy, Enron and the Public Utility Commission of Texas. He earned his undergraduate degree in economics from The University of Texas and his Master of Science in economics from Texas A&M University.
